CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Two Rossview Middle School students will be competing in TMSAA Cross Country State Championship Saturday, October 10, at Hilldale Family Life Center.
Samantha Rosencrants and Sangie Lincoln-Velez both qualified for State Championship by competing in the TMSSAA Middle Sectional on September 26. Samantha finished 13th out of a total of 120 runners with a time of 12:38.36 and Sangie finished 16th overall with a time of 12:45.61.
These two students are representing Rossview Middle School which is the only school eligible in Montgomery County this year. Rossview Middle is classified as AA, so the two young ladies will begin running at 11:20 a.m. The award will be handed out at the conclusion of the race.
Admission into the race is six dollars for high school students and adults. For elementary or middles school students the cost is 3 dollars.
