Clarksville community invited to have ‘Coffee with a Cop’

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Police Department will host its next ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 31 at Yada, Yada, Yada Deli.

CPD is partnering with area businesses to bring together community members and officers in an informal environment to learn more about each other in a relaxed, one-on-one interaction.

According to officials, much of the contact between the public and law enforcement occurs during emergencies or emotional situations, which can present challenges to positive relationship-building.

This event gives the public the opportunity to meet and speak with officers in a casual setting for a better, more personal interaction with the officers serving and living in the community.

Yada, Yada, Yada Delis is at 106 Strawberry Alley in downtown Clarksville.
