CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville Civitan Club held their annual Public Service Awards Ceremony at the weekly club meeting on March 18.
Led by project leader and Past Club President Donna Sabash, the club recognized the superior service and sacrifice of law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel from the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County. Honored employees were accompanied by their supervisors and family members.
The honorees included:
- Deputy Melissa Smith, MCSO Deputy of the Year
- Firefighter Nolan Brown, MCFS Firefighter of the Year
- Engineer Matt Huff, CFD Firefighter of the Year
- AEMT-P Ashley Beshear, MC Emergency Medical Technician of the Year
- Sergeant Channing Bartel, CPD Police Officer of the Year
Each citation included testimonials to the competence, courage and dedication each of these employees demonstrated to their duties, coworkers and the community.
