CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Cheer Extreme had 2 teams named Jamfest National champions and a GRAND CHAMPION title this weekend in Sevierville, TN!
Beyond the trophies, banners, and jackets the athletes were instilled with life lessons beyond cheerleading. Since May of 2015 these athletes have invested their time and effort into their love of cheerleading. Through hard practices, skills that didn’t come easy, balancing school and sports these athletes learned to not quit when adversity arises.
These adolescents learned to be self-disciplined, to work well with others, and to be receptive to instruction. After hours and hours of hard work invested, these athletes realized success does not happen overnight. They set goals, dealt with disappointment when they didn’t get that score they’d hoped for, and continued to work hard past a difficult moment. All of these lessons created the heart of a champion that took the stage this past weekend to earn a 1st place trophy. The National Champion titles were celebrated to the extreme, but the CCE program is most proud of the character of our amazing athletes!
