CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its 110th Annual Dinner & Gala, Tuesday, June 23 at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. Tommy Bates with Legends Bank accepted leadership as new Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce. The traditional passing of the gavel was carried out by Katie Gambill from 5-Star Media Group and Clarksvillenow.com who has served as Chairman for the past two years.
Influential community members and Chamber of Commerce supporters were also honored with awards at the event. The 2015 Community Commitment Award went to Charlie Foust, Charles Hand received the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award, 2015 Ambassador of the Year went to Vicki Henson and 2015 Young Professional of the Year was given to Bradley Jackson.
Entertainment for the evening was provided by Richie McDonald, lead singer of Lonestar who performed a number of hit songs from the band and received a standing ovation at the end of his performance.
