CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – On Sunday, March 15, the Center for Disease Control encouraged Americans to limit large gatherings to less than 50 people. In response, several Clarksville attractions have begun to temporarily close their doors.
The CDC recommended venues, “cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States”. This leaves many attractions feeling the sting of lower ticket sales and empty venues as the American public tries to avoid contracting extremely contagious virus.
“For a while, life is not going to be the way it used to be in the United States,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday morning.
