CLARKSVILLE, TN – The ITF Taekwon-Do World Championship 2025 took place on November 15 and 16 at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. More than 22 countries and over 750 competitors from traditional Taekwon-Do organizations gathered for this global event.
The United States was represented by a delegation of approximately 26 athletes – nine of them from Clarksville, led by Alfredo Hernández, head coach of the United States National Team.
The athletes representing Clarksville and competing as part of the U.S. National Team were:
- Jaden Hernández – Bronze in individual sparring; Gold in team sparring
- Lucian Palos – Gold in team sparring
- Brianna López – Bronze in individual sparring
- Sara Sakande – Gold in individual sparring
- Leanna López – Bronze in individual sparring
- Abrielle Austin – Gold in forms; Gold in sparring
- TJ Mosher – Bronze in sparring
- Jacobi Bradley – Bronze in individual forms; Silver in individual sparring
- Gerardo Veguilla – Bronze in individual sparring
