CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Four Clarksville high schools competed head-to-head Wednesday evening in the final tournament of their inaugural season. The  bowling league was created in October this year for CMCSS students, with over 60 students expressing interest.
Clarksville High left with the trophy for first place, followed by Rossview High in second place, Northwest High in third, and West Creek High School in fourth.
Community partners came together to support the transition of the standard school clubs into a new competitive league. The Pinnacle Family Entertainment Center donated lane space for the leagues to practice and compete. Antonio Murgas, owner of Domino’s Pizza in Clarksville, was a leading force in the leagues creation and serves as the coach for the Rossview team.
The organizers hope to expand the program in the coming years to be able to accommodate more students.
