CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville Academy unveiled the new name of their field house Wednesday: the Action Air Cougar Field House.

Head of School Jennifer Hinote said Action Air is one of the private school’s latest local businesses partners as CA works to develop corporate sponsors to help offset the rising cost of educating students.

Resources provided by Action Air will make the field house at the Clarksville Academy Sports Complex, 1330 Tennessee Highway 13, more usable for spring and fall sports. Currently only one of the locker room areas is properly heated and cooled.

Action Air will install ducting and HVAC units so other areas of the field house are comfortable for students, families and guests. Over the next four years, Action Air will provide Clarksville Academy with $10,000 of services annually.

Owner of Action Air Joy Kraeske said both of her grandchildren attend Clarksville Academy. “We wanted to help out and do something with somebody local. They are just right up the street from us, and they had a need, and we were glad we could do it.”

Hinote said school leaders are grateful for Action Air’s “generosity and creativity in helping us to serve our school and our families.”

“The impact over the next five years will help us to offset other budget costs so we can operate efficiently and pour our energy back into our students,” she said.
