CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – For the second year in a row, the Clarksville Academy football program will offer a series of free football camps for interested middle school students in the area.

“Since we joined this community, our goal as a staff has been to make Clarksville a premier football city throughout the state,” Head Football Coach JD Sellers said. “These camps provide us the opportunity to do that.”

This past February, Clarksville Academy was able to have four players sign with college programs.

“The fact that Clarksville Academy had more players sign with colleges than any other school in the city is a testament to how strong our player development is and how all players throughout the city can improve by coming and working with our coaching staff,” Sellers said. “The middle school age is one of the most important developmental ages of exposure to specific techniques and these camps will help the middle school players that come.”
