CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) Clarksville Academy (CA) defeated Franklin Road Academy 69-58 Wednesday night to earn a spot in the state tournament.
Clarksville Academy’s Jakobi Milan scored 25 points with 6 rebounds; Daniel Loos had 24 points with 7 rebounds, and Brandon Huntley scored 10 points with 9 rebounds. CA had more rebounds than Franklin Road Academy by 33-25 and this Cougar team may be the biggest team in Division II Class A.
The student section at Procter Court went crazy when the final seconds ticked off the clock, knowing that Clarksville Academy was moving on.
The Cougars are traveling to Bell Buckle, Tennessee this weekend to play their next opponent.
