CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – Clarksville Academy Cougars fell to Middle Tennessee Christian Friday 34-40.
The Cougars had two turnovers, one in the red zoneĀ and another on the opening kick-off in the second half that proved costly.
CA had 348 total offensive yards compared to Middle Tennessee’s 444 yards.
Cougars quarterback Bryce Robinson had 253 yards passing, threw two touchdowns and rushed for two more. Landry Forte also had a rushing touchdown for CA.
Clarksville Academy record moves to 5-3 before hosting Nashville Christian at home next week.
The Cougars are already guaranteedĀ to host a first-round playoff game.
