CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- The ClarksVillain Roller Girls will host Splash Bash August 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Clarksville Speedway and Fairgrounds.
The event will be held at the Speedway in the warehouse space and parking area where the ClarksVillains play their monthly roller derby games.
“It was important to us that we have an event that gives back to the community. We couldn’t do what we do without their support,” says veteran skater and team president, Charmaine Coles, aka Beastmode.
The rain or shine event will feature three inflatables, including a water slide, provided by Party Rockers of Clarksville. Other activities include a water balloon station, a petting zoo, carnival-style games with prizes, and face painting. There will also be an adult and children’s tug of war competition, and a PokeStation, where people can charge their phones while trying to catch ’em all.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase in the vendor area. Admission is free, but some activities will require a ticket, which will be just $1.
