CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Fort Defiance Interpretive Center, located at 120 Duncan Street, will host a medical display Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The display will feature a collection of medical tools and medicines used during the Civil War along with commentary and informal question and answer sessions with Mark Britton.

In addition, visitors can explore the well preserved outer earthen works, powder magazine, and gun platforms. As well as tour the permanent indoor exhibit which includes the 18-minute film, “Crossroads of Change 1861-1865”.
