CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The City of Clarksville will host its first digital town hall meeting using Facebook live from the City’s official Facebook page at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17.
The event is an opportunity for Mayor Joe Pitts to answer questions frequently asked by community residents.
“I am really excited about this opportunity to sit down and answer a few of the routinely asked questions I hear, while also having the chance to highlight coming projects,” Pitts said.
Pitts will open the digital town hall with a few words, then address several commonly asked questions about city issues. He also will take questions posted by viewers watching live on Facebook.
Viewers may still submit questions in advance via the City’s digital town hall event Facebook page, and they are encouraged to tune in live on Thursday to interact with the mayor. To submit questions, visit the Facebook event page.
