CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Parks and Recreation announced they will be temporarily closing playgrounds at public parks and postponing certain community events. The city department has worked closely with local public health officials to monitor coronavirus (COVID-19).

Organized activities and certain facilities will be closed through May 10, 2020.

City parks and trails are currently open, providing a place for people to recharge and enjoy the outdoors.

Social distancing is recommended as you use the parks and trail amenities.
