CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Montgomery County Circuit Court employees are holding an event to help a former co-worker, Terry Biggs, forced into early retirement after being diagnosed with both Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease.

Day by day Biggs has been stripped of her independence, but she continues to remain optimistic as she undergoes various forms of very expensive treatments to help he battle the two crippling diseases. Biggs had worked at the circuit court office for over 20 years before her diagnosis.

In a show of love and support for Biggs and her family, the circuit court and juvenile court clerks are sponsoring a “Team Terry” fundraiser on Friday, September 25 on the first floor of the court house from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

You can get a BBQ chicken lunch for just $10 which includes ½ chicken, coleslaw, beans, bread, cookies, and a drink. Advanced tickets can be bought at the circuit court clerk’s office on the first floor. The food can be picked up at the court house on September 25.

There will also be baked goods, cakes, gift certificates and silent auction baskets. If you are not able to attend the event you can contribute on Biggs’ “Go Fund Me” page at http://gofundme.com/e66xe62tg8.
