LOUISVILLE, KY – Drew Estate Cigars will host the “Kentucky Fired Cured Barn Smoker” event on Friday, September 19 in Hopkinsville, KY.

The brand is that of Jonathan Drew, the founder of the second largest premium cigar factory in the world. Drew Estate Cigars is describing the event as “a blend of a true southern affair, combined with a Nicaraguan experience, located deep in Kentucky, only 60 miles north of Nashville, revealing how fire cured tobacco, or smoking tobacco, is really made.

“It’s a tribute to Kentucky with a laser focus on Hopkinsville, the heart of the dark fire curing movement,” Drew said. “I want to share my knowledge about premium cigars, as well as learn from other tobacco masters who are attending.”

“Kyle Henderson of Angel’s Envy will be on hand to show guest what Kentucky Bourbon is all about and Cigar Press Magazine is a sponsor as well,” said Jeff Mouttet, owner of Riverside Cigar Shop and Lounge in Indiana.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Cigars for Warriors, an organization with a mission to collect and disperse premium cigars and accessories to troops serving in combat zones as well as filling requests from United States military personnel.

Tickets are $20, which covers two Kentucky Fire Cured Cigars, a Drew Estate Cutter and a ticket for a glass of Angel’s Envy Bourbon. Tickets are available here.
