CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – Clarksville High played Hendersonville in the Girls Soccer Regional 5-AAA Championship game Wednesday night at home.
CHS won 2-0 to claim their fifth straight title.
The Wildcats came out strong in the first half.
Senior Gybson Roth scored the first goal in the 16th minute of the game with an assist by Freshman Destiny Hill.
Senior Lexie Hayes scored the second goal in the 31st minute with an assist by Gybson Roth.
CHS held on to their 2-0 lead for the rest of the game. Clarksville’s defensive play sealed the win and gave the Wildcats their fifth straight Region Title.
Clarksville High hosts Brentwood in a State Sectional match Saturday at 7pm at Hilda J. Richardson Field.
