CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLNOW) A Drive Safe Rally was held Friday at Clarksville High School as a way to connect with students on the dangers associated with distracted driving.
The Clarksville Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Clarksville Fire Rescue, Montgomery County Driver Safety Program, and other agencies, organizations and businesses offered hands-on applications and answered questions about safe driving.
Between 600-700 students were expected to take part in the rally which featured information on texting and driving, driving or being a passenger in a vehicle while someone is under the influence, not wearing a seat belt, along with other irresponsible ad dangerous driving behaviors.
