CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Mary Bailey Grubbs is congratulated by her great grandfather, William Bailey Allen, family members and TNSSAR Vice President, Bill Hickerson after receiving the 2017 CAR/SAR Patriot Ancestor Award.
The winning essay “William Winchester, Indentured Servant and Patriot” was presented at the Youth Awards Luncheon during the TNSSAR Conference at the Cool Springs Marriott in Franklin, TN.
Mary Bailey is President of the Sevier Station Society, T.S.C.A.R. and a freshman at Clarksville High School.
