CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – Clarksville High played a scrimmage football game against Mt. Juliet Friday night.
Many of the local teams had a scrimmage game scheduled. Some of those teams had to cancel those scrimmages due to a thunderstorm that dropped heavy rain.
The Clarksville Wildcats were able to get in a much needed scrimmage after a long delay. The game was scheduled to be played APSU in Fortera Stadium on the turf. Rain fell for most of the first half and cleared up in the second half with around 200 spectators on hand to watch the scrimmage.
Both teams were working out some kinks getting ready for their season opener. CHS plays in the TOA High School Football Jamoree next Friday August 12th in Fortera Stadium at APSU where they face the Northwest Vikings.
