CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Clarksville High Wildcats lost 22-7 to the Lewisburg Patriots, a team from Olive Branch, Mississippi. Lewisburg scored first with a safety, benefiting from a bad snap from CHS in the endzone.

CHS had plenty of drives down the field but couldn’t capitalize. One touchdown pass got called back by a penalty. The Wildcats did score off a drive that ended with a couple of good runs by fullback Seth Phillips. With Lewisburg’s front line and the combination of quarterback Bryce Brock and running back Chester King picked apart Clarksville’s defense.

Clarksville is headed to Nashville next week to play the Hillwood Hilltoppers.
