CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville High School has had a big year for fall sports. To celebrate the students’ achievements, CHS held a pep rally on Tuesday, November 5, to congratulate their teams on a hard fought season and wish them luck as they travel to their respective championships.

CHS’s Girls Soccer teams as well as both the Boys and Girls Golf Teams are headed to TSSAA state championships. Cross county athlete Isaiah Galacia will also compete in TSSAA state championships. Clarksville High Volleyball won this year’s District Championship, and CHS Football is headed to Mumford for their first game of the playoffs.

The pep rally featured performances from CHS’s dance and cheer teams, as well as the CHS Band, whose 2019 “Night at the Museum” show features Roman Centurions, Egyptian Pharaohs, a tyrannosaurus rex and more.

CHS Principal Bryan Feldman shared his pride not only in his students’ athletic success, but in their class room work as well. 313 CHS students made the AB honor roll and another 199 made all A’s.

As Principal Feldman prepared to leave the gym floor, he was surprised by students and faculty who had prepared a banner congratulating him on being named the 2019 TSSAA A.F. Bridges Principal of the Year.

“We have the absolute best kids and best families. They work hard each and every day. I can’t be prouder, just to be the lucky one that gets to serve them,” said Feldman “How they perform on the field, but more importantly, how they carry themselves each and every day as individuals is what makes Clarksville High unique and special. So, I’m proud of them.”
