Christopher “Chris” Joseph Kelley, passed away on September 23, 2024 at the age of 37 in Charlotte, NC.
Chris was born on July 17, 1987 to Darrell M. and Lynda L. Kelley in Honolulu, HI. He was the eldest of 5 children. He graduated from high school in Clarksville, TN at Northeast High School in 2005 and Austin Peay State University (APSU) in 2013. He was married to and survived by his wife, Alixandra Kelley for 5 years.
Chris is also survived by his parents Darrell & Lynda Kelley of Clarksville, TN; his daughter Calla Kelley of Clarksville, TN; his siblings James Kelley of Belfair, WA, Jennifer Kelley of Clarksville, TN, John Kelley (Christina) of Clarksville, TN, and Rachel Kelley of Clarksville, TN.
Chris is also survived by his grandmothers, Jeanette Mellish of Auburn, AL and Bessie Kelley of Enterprise, AL. He was greatly loved by his surviving Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Chris was a tattoo artist for 12 years and owned Hidden Dagger Tattoo studio in Charlotte, NC. He studied Studio Art at APSU & this education greatly helped him to design and bring his art to life through tattoos. He loved, more than anything, sharing his creations with everyone he touched.
First and foremost, Chris is being remembered as kind and selfless. He was fun and always willing to volunteer his help and would make sure you smiled throughout any hard work. He loved people and was always willing to strike up a conversation.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 4:00 pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.
