CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Join the City of Clarksville to celebrate Christmas on the Cumberland’s 17th year with a grand opening ceremony, Tuesday, November 24 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the McGregor Park RiverWalk and Museum.
The grand opening will feature the official lighting of the Cumberland by Mayor Kim McMillan along with special guests Snowbird and Santa Claus.
The Rossview choir and ADE Dance Group will perform. Food and drink will be available to purchase from Waffle Time Food Truck.
Christmas on the Cumberland will be open nightly from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., Sunday through Thursday and 5:00 to 11:00 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays through January 3, 2016. Admission is free.
Family friendly activities will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., December 12 and 19. This year’s free activities include holiday crafts and performances by local school and church choirs and dance groups.
