Christie Marie Melton, age 41, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Gateway Medical Center.
Christie was born June 3, 1974, in Paris, TN, to Donald Addison Melton and Sharon Ann Spayth Redmond.
Ms. Melton attended St. John Missionary Baptist Church. She was a great mother, who loved her children. Christie was a thrill-seeker, loved flower gardening, and was an avid collector.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 26, at 4:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bethel Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 26, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Christie is survived by her father, Donald (Nancy) Addison Melton of Paris, TN; mother, Sharon Ann (Alan) Redmond of Midland, MI; fiancé, James Rowe, who she fondly referred to as “Old Man”; son, Devin Michael Boarland; daughter, Alexandra Grace Rowe; grandfather, Leo L. Spayth; two step-brothers, Derrick (Emily) Melton and Jim Redmond; two step-sisters, Deitre Mars and Stacie (Brian) Wawsczyk; step-nephew, Taylor Melton; three step-nieces, Ashley and Lily Mars, and Jessica Melton; twenty aunts and uncles, of Paris, TN and Midland, MI; and many cousins.
