Christel Edna Wilson Griffin, age 92, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Tennova Healthcare.
Christel was born August 11, 1928, in Cheatham County, TN to the late Charles Emerson Wilson Jr., and Katie Frank Wilson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Frank Wilson. She is survived by her sons, Dudley (Christina) Griffin, Chris Griffin, and grandson, Michael Griffin.
Christel was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was retired after 54 years from banking with First Federal / First Advantage Bank.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, December 4, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Jacob officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020, from 4-7 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Altar Society.
