CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Christopher “Chris” Lanier, a lifelong Clarksville resident, small-business owner and community leader, has announced his campaign for the Tennessee House of Representatives to serve District 67 in the Nov. 3 election.

Raised in the Beachaven subdivision off Madison Street, Lanier attended Norman Smith Elementary, Barksdale Elementary, Richview Middle, and Clarksville High School before earning a degree in Agriculture with a minor in Business from Austin Peay State University.

Lanier said his campaign is grounded in service, community, and a commitment to the families of Clarksville and Montgomery County. “Clarksville is home,” Lanier said. “This community has shaped who I am, and I’m running to serve District 67 with practical leadership, a strong work ethic, and a focus on the issues that matter most to local families.”
