CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) –  Ticket’s for the 8th annual Chocolate Affair, an event made for chocolate-enthusiast who want to try a delightful smorgasbord of chocolate treats and cuisines, will go on sale Friday, November 29- Black Friday.

Clarksville Parks & Recreation’s Chocolate Affair is a ticketed event that takes place on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. More than 15 local and national business vendors will provide bite-sized sweet and savory samples that include chocolate in some form or fashion.

VIP and general admission tickets go on sale Black Friday, Nov. 29.  As in previous years, tickets for this event will sell out quickly, so gather your chocolate-loving friends and buy yours early, according to a news release from Clarksville Parks and Recreation.

The afternoon session is from 2 to 4 p.m. while an adult soiree with dancing and a cash bar rounds out the evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tickets are extremely limited, with 50 VIP tickets available for each session and 250 general admission tickets.  VIP tickets are $25 while general admission is $15. VIP tickets include early access to the event, reserved seating and a Chocolate Affair wine glass. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ClarksvilleParksRec.com.

Awards will be presented to vendors for Best Taste, Best Presentation and Most Creative Use of Chocolate.  The event will also feature the Big Band sounds of the Marino Music Group.

The 8th annual Chocolate Affair is coordinated by Clarksville Parks & Recreation and presented by Gateway Credit Union. Representatives will be on hand to greet guests and will also assist in the awards ceremony.  Guests in both sessions can register to win a $100 VISA gift card to be awarded by Gateway Credit Union.

In an effort to continue the citywide green initiative, all plates, napkins, and utensils will be made of biodegradable materials.
