CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Chili’s restaurant in Clarksville is taking your lunch and dinner to a whole new level starting Monday, March 31 with the latest technology to help make your visit to Chili’s more enjoyable. It’s the new Ziosk which is an ipad type device on the table that will make ordering food and drink easier.

Kristin Watts, the Culinary Manager at Chili’s talked about how the new Ziosk can be used by guests. “It will replace our drink and dessert menu on the table as well as our feature menu cards. What it will do is it will have the capability of showing guests actual pictures they can scroll through of all of our drinks, our appetizers, featured menu items as well as desserts,’ said Watts.

At this time the service doesn’t allow guests to order entrees or appetizers but they can see available appetizers on the Ziosk screen. The Ziosk also offers other features like games, apps, free USA Today and children can entertain themselves with the games which are 99 cents for unlimited play.

Guests will also be able to pay with a credit card right at the table and they can split their checks up two or three ways. “So there is a lot more the guest is able to do themselves to eliminate wait times or things of that nature,” Watts said. The Ziosk will also print out a receipt or the guest can get an itemized receipt from the server.

“This is really a great tool to give us feedback from the guests. Let us know what we’re doing right, what we’re doing wrong and what we can improve on,” said Watts. To learn more about the new Ziosk stop by Chili’s at 2127 Lowe’s Drive in Clarksville or call 931-552-5529.
