CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Four years running, Chick-fil-A has been named America’s favorite fast food chain.

It has taken the top spot on the American Customer Satisfaction index (ACSI), a survey based on the results from 23,000 consumers.

Chick-fil-A scored an 86 on the ACSI’S 100-point scale. It is one point lower than the previous year, however still five points higher than the next-best restaurant, Panera Bread.

This year, the lowest ranked fast food chain was McDonald’s with a score of 69.

Despite allegations against founder John Schnatter, Papa John’s held strong, tying for best pizza joint with Pizza Hut at 80 points.

Leading the full-service restaurant industry, Texas Roadhouse stayed on top another year, with 83 points.

After falling last year, Cracker Barrel turned things around, up 1% to second place at 82. The ‘country cooking’ chain seems to be winning over the millennial market scoring best in class for the quality of its mobile app.

LongHorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, and Red Robin also received top honors.
