NASHVILLE, Tenn.- (CLARKSVILENOW) Cheekwood will offer free admission and parking to military personnel and their families on Saturday, Sept. 2 and Sunday, Sept. 3 in recognition of Labor Day weekend.

Cheekwood is closed to the public on Mondays.

Active military personnel, military veterans and their immediate families will be eligible for the free admission. To receive free admission, guests must present a valid military identification, veteran organization ID, discharge papers or other official military identification.

Located inside the newly restored historic mansion, Cheekwood’s blockbuster summertime exhibition, Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times will be on view during the holiday weekend, as well as Classic Cars in the Courtyard. Guests can also enjoy 11 distinct gardens and the mile-long Carell Woodland Sculpture Trail.
