Charles ‘Charlie’ Wayne Fox, age 73 of Dover, Tenn. passed away June 2, 2021 at Dickson Health and Rehab.
He was born March 31, 1948 the son of the late Clyde and Ruby Lorene Fox. Charlie grew up in Model, Tenn.
Fox always loved being outside and working with his hands. He worked at Mathis Sawmill until he retired.
Retirement did not stop him from continuing to take care of people’s lawns until his health declined. After retirement, he truly enjoyed his time trading items with his buddies at the social gathering bench at Westside Market.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers; Buster Fox, Bobby Jean Fox, Edward Fox, and sisters; Linda Pepper, Lucille Fox, Dorothy Fox Knott, Gloria Faye Fox and Anna Mae Fox Hargrove.
He is survived by his loving daughters; Mary Ann Nichols (Kevin), Judy Dykeman, both from Dickson, grandchildren; Brittany Sykes, Jeremy Nichols, Allie Dykeman, Kaylin Dykeman and precious great-grandchild, Addilynn Sykes.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nickey Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Hicks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Charlie to the Hicks Cemetery grown maintenance program.
