Charles Joseph “Joe” Keller III, age 56, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, in Nashville.
Joe was born in Alton, IL, to Charles Keller, Jr. and Bonnie Davenport Meredith.
He was a deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department for ten years, prior to starting his own business. Joe was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was known for his sense of humor and laughter, which would fill the room whenever he was around.
Memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, May 27, at the funeral home.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Keller is survived by his wife of 31 years, Tracye Keller; son, Michael Keller of Clarksville; daughter, Ashleigh (Michael) Travis of Clarksville; brother, Keith Keller of Alton, IL; two half-brothers, Randy (Suzanne) Meredith of Edwardsville, IL and Lennie Keller of Murfreesboro, TN; half-sister, Becky Paschall; and two grandchildren, Matthew Keller and Camryn Travis.
He was preceded in death by one half-brother, Bradley Keller.
