Charles Edward Henry, age 84, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and family on Sunday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Charles entered this life on April 10, 1940, in Putnam County, TN to the late Joe and Bertie Whitaker Henry. He was a Veteran of The United States Army and a member of Crossland Avenue Baptist Church. Charles enjoyed spending his time at Ajax Turner Senior Center and working puzzles. He spent his years working within the maintenance department for Clarksville Montgomery County School System.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Evie Wall Henry; children, Jimmy Henry, and his wife, Christine, Jeff Henry, and his wife, Stephanie; grandchildren, Kodi Bomberry, Shanna Henry, Jacob Henry, and Samuel Henry; great-grandchildren, Isobel, Marleigh, and Charleigh. Charles also leaves behind his sister, Cynthia Bumbalough.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
