A Celebration of Life service for Charles Edward Heatherly, 77, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, January 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Family will serve as pallbearers.
Charles was born on November 7, 1945, in Knoxville, TN, to Gordon and Maxine Lee. He passed away on January 9, 2023. Charles was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and employed with Trane Company for over 40 years. He loved cars and golfing and was a UT Vols fan.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his children, Steven Woodall and Donna Vinson. Charles is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Heatherly; children: Timothy Heatherly, Laura (David) Nesbitt, Phillip Heatherly, and Candy (Edward) Woodall Takacs; grandchildren: Timothy Jr., Amber, Gavin, Kayla, David, Christopher, Nicholas, Sophia, Samantha, Jesse, Bridee, Taylor, Alexis, Kyleigh, and Nevaeh; and great-grandchildren: Adison, Brooklyn, Kinsley, Christopher, Elizabeth, Baylee, Brianna, Beckham, Blakely, and David IV.
