Charles Ewing “Dookey” Reddick, age 63 of Erin, Tenn., passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare.
Dookey entered this life on November 5, 1957 in Erin, the son to the late W.A. and Angeline Pulley Reddick. He was a strong-willed man who loved to hunt and fish. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his loving children, Luke Reddick and Lisa Stone (Roy Moro); siblings, Billy T. Reddick, Sr. (Rachel), Shirley Hogan, Lucille Riley and Mary Hardwick. He also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, Gracie Moro, Levi Moro and Caleb Moro; step-grandchildren, Lacy Moro and Taylor Moro and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 24 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Nulty officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Cemetery. The Reddick family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday afternoon.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Riley, Steven Lancaster, Johnny Seay, Billy Tom Reddick, Jr., Monty Ray Reddick and Hunter Parrott. Honorary pallbearers are Roger Zane Price and Alex Riley.
