Charlene Josephine Cicco, age 75 of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021
She entered this life on August 27, 1945 in Lorain, Ohio to the late Sam and Jenny Nicoletti Cicco. Charlene was a veteran of the United States Army and a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a 911 operator for over 10 years, in various cities.
Cicco was a military wife for 35 years, during which she was a devoted homemaker. She spent those years caring for her children and raising a family while her husband was away. In addition to being a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Charlene loved the kennel clubs and her cats, Pippen and Soup.
Survivors include her children, Dave (Tracy) Bramel, Robert “Bob” Bramel, Shelby Bramel and Adam Bramel; grandchildren, Leigh-Ayn Tucker, Taylor Bramel, Lilly Bramel and great-grandchildren, Greyson and David.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2021 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Dominick Azzara officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, June 21 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
