Charlene Elizabeth Houk, age 66 of Clarksville, passed away on August 7, 2021.
She was born on December 28, 1954 in Clarksville. Charlene was a member of Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church and loved studying the Word of God. She enjoyed spending time with family, teaching and nature.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kenya Makimba Elliott, and siblings, Valnetta Blount and Corey Suggs.
Charlene is survived by her husband of 30 years, Todd Houk; parents, Charles (Shirley Ann) and Ruby Suggs; children, Phiwokwakhe Kasisi Suggs, Will Kimario Thomas and Tamira Hudson; siblings, Wyvonne (Robert) Sturdivant, Cheryl Suggs, Charles “PV” Suggs and Carlos (Latissa) Hall; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving family members.
A graveside service will be Thursday, August 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Pastor Charles W. Radford will officiate.
