CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Plans continue to move ahead for the future campus of Chapel Hill Christian Academy, with the school hosting the Wonders of His Love dinner recently at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.

Close to 500 supporters of the school attended the holiday fundraising event on Sunday. Head of School Sara Hendrix announced that the school has purchased 56 acres in the Sango area near Trough Springs Road and Sango Road that will one day be the home of the school’s campus.

Chapel Hill students – Lower School Kindergarten through 4th grade and Upper School 5th-7th grade – currently attend classes at local churches that have made space available. Chapel Hill also offers a Pre-K program.

“It’s amazing to see how God has continued to grow our school,” Hendrix said. “So now we’re looking at having over almost 300 students in three years, which is incredible.”

A new fundraising program called Founding Families has been established to support Chapel Hill.

“What we are hoping for are 250 families will commit to $250 a month for three years, or a $3,000 a year donation. If we were able to do that, we would be able to pay off the land in three years, which would put us on the fast-track to building our future campus,” Hendrix said.
