Rain will transition to light snow Friday evening across the Cumberland Plateau Region and potentially last through the overnight hours.
Total snowfall accumulations will range from just a dusting to a few tenths of an inch across the Cumberland Plateau Region.
Higher elevations from Jamestown to Monterey of the Upper Cumberland Region could have as much as one inch of snowfall in a few spots. Some slick travel conditions may develop to those traveling for the Christmas holiday.
