CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting recently for a new member, Ahava Hot Yoga. Owners Padma Bailey and Billy Barefoot Yogi talked about what they offer.
Bailey talked about Ahava Hot Yoga. “We offer hot yoga, we teach classes for people of all backgrounds, shapes and sizes. A lot of people think yoga is for those who are already fit, already flexible, yoga is and can be so much more than that,” said Bailey.
Bailey added that it’s very stress relieving, anxiety relieving, it’s great for the mind and the body and they teach classes for all levels in all the classes.
“We do yoga, but we do it in a heated room. We practice what they call authentic hot yoga which is 105 degrees and 40 percent humidity. Basically our classes are for every body, we have young, we have old, we have world class athletes but we also have people here with disabilities,” said Billy Barefoot Yogi.
Ahava Hot Yoga is at 2033 Fort Campbell Blvd, Suite A. Classes are offered mornings and evenings seven days a week and they are typically open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday’s 5 a.m.-9 p.m.
