Clarksville, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of this year’s Annual Dinner & Gala awards.

Held Tuesday at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, more than 230 business and community leaders attended the Annual Dinner & Gala which serves as an opportunity to celebrate the past year’s achievements and welcome in the new Board leadership.

This year, Chamber Chairman Jay Albertia took a moment to recognize individual members who have gone above and beyond both in the community and in business. The winners of the 2019 Chamber Annual Dinner & Gala awards are:

Maria Jimenez, Ted A Crozier, Sr. Community Commitment Award, Jimenez Consulting & Tax Services. The Community Commitment Award honors a Chamber member that showcases the spirit of our community and embodies the Chamber’s mission to improve the welfare of the community by enhancing the quality of life in the region. Jimenez, who is the owner of Jimenez Consulting & Tax Services, specialize in tax preparation in Clarksville for private individuals, private and public companies, including non-profits. She is also the founder of Fun Accounting for Preschoolers, a money management program designed by Jimenez for children ages three to five.

James (Jim) Holleman, Lifetime Achievement Award, Conroy Marable & Holleman. The Lifetime Achievement Award, now in its 8th year, honors and recognizes a member that has shown a long-term dedication to the community and this organization. Holleman was a partner in the real estate firm, Conroy Marable & Holleman. He has served on numerous Boards and was the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce in 1983.

Stephen Hofmeister, Ambassador of the Year, 5 Star Media Group. The Clarksville Ambassadors play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the Chamber as goodwill representatives of the organization. Their commitment and participation in Chamber activities is vital. Hofmeister, Account Executive for 5 Star Media Group, is an integral member of the Ambassadors group and was previously named Ambassador of the Quarter in January 2019.

James (JC) Matthews, Clarksville Young Professional of the Year, Clarksville-Montgomery County Industrial Development Board. The CYP winner is continually focused on professional development and shows care about our future of our community. Matthews is an active member of CYP as well as the outgoing Chairman. He has volunteered countless hours to the betterment of our community through both Chamber organizations as well as the local chapter of his Fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha.

Troy McNalley, The Boots to Suits Award, Sporty’s Awards & Gifts. This veteran’s award recognizes a Clarksville military veteran who, through professional and personal efforts, is making a positive impact throughout the business community. McNalley opened Sporty’s Awards and Gifts in 1989 and has a strong community presence through his entrepreneurship endeavors as well as his service to our country.

Also announced at the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner & Gala was the appointment of Keith Bennett, Market President (Houston & Montgomery Counties), Heritage Bank, to the position of Board Chairman beginning July 1, 2019.
