CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new U.S. Army Garrison Commander for Fort Campbell, Colonel Joseph Kuchan and his wife Sarah with a breakfast Wednesday morning.
Colonel Kuchan recently took over as Garrison Commander at Fort Campbell after the retirement of Colonel Rob Salome. Kuchan is no stranger to the area, having served as the G3 and says this is his third time being at Fort Campbell.
“We’re just excited to work with everybody and continuing strengthing the relationships that we already have. There’s a lot going on in both places, both in Clarksville and at Fort Campbell so we’re really looking forward to it,” Kuchan said.
Colonel Kuchan also wanted to remind everyone about the 75th birthday celebration for the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) coming up August 16 through August 26.
