CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce will host a series of August and September programs focused on economic trends, leadership development and business networking, including its Federal Reserve Breakfast and 32nd Annual Golf Scramble.

While the economic outlook remains a critical focus for business professionals, workplace management and employee engagement continue to be top concerns across industries. To address those challenges, the Chamber will host a management seminar featuring leadership expert Glenn Shepard. The SHRM-accredited webinar, How to Manage Problem Employees and Handle Difficult People, will be held Aug. 6 and is designed to equip supervisors, managers and business owners with practical leadership tools for navigating workplace challenges while building stronger teams. The program also provides continuing education credits for human resources professionals.

Economic development and business forecasting will take center stage during the Federal Reserve Breakfast on Sept. 22. The event will feature Emily Mitchell, regional executive and senior officer with the Atlanta Federal Reserve, who will provide insight on current economic conditions and trends affecting businesses at both the national and local levels. The breakfast is designed to help business professionals better understand market conditions, evaluate emerging economic trends and make informed strategic decisions for the months ahead.

The Chamber’s focus on relationship building continues Sept. 8 with the 32nd Annual Golf Scramble at Swan Lake Golf Course, one of the organization’s longest running and most well-attended networking traditions. The annual tournament attracts business leaders from across the region and provides an opportunity for networking and relationship building outside the office. Sponsorship opportunities remain available for companies seeking to increase visibility among more than the 120 business professionals expected to participate.

Networking opportunities begin even sooner on Aug. 20 with the Chamber’s Business Expo and monthly Business After Hours networking event at Beachaven Downtown. The combined event provides businesses with a platform to showcase products and services while connecting directly with fellow professionals, community stakeholders and potential customers.

The Chamber’s commitment to career growth extends to emerging professionals as well. Additional August programming includes the Clarksville Young Professionals luncheon on Aug. 5 featuring financial advisor Eric D. Coleman, along with committee meetings and member engagement opportunities throughout the month.

The Chamber also recently welcomed a new class of Ambassadors who will serve as advocates for member businesses and support Chamber initiatives throughout the community. Alongside recent ribbon cuttings and new member announcements, the Ambassador program reflects the continued momentum of Clarksville-Montgomery County’s business community and the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to foster growth, visibility and connection among local organizations.
