CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 14, for Teddy Joe Cook, who died as the result of an assault at a Clarksville laundromat, last month.
The 71-year-old employee of Super Suds Laundry on Peachers Mill Road was beaten by three teens on May 30. Prosecutors say they intend to try the suspects as adults.
Cook was taken to a Nashville hospital following the attack but died ten days later.
A GoFundMe campaign was established before Cook passed. Organizer Brianna Galavez says the funds will now go to Cook’s widow.
