Allan passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral service for Cecil “Allan” Jones, age 48 of Murfreesboro, will be Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cumberland Furnace Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
He was born on June 15, 1970 in Clarksville, TN to Cecil and Olean Jones. He was a master mechanic at Beaman Dodge and Ford of Murfreesboro and a member of Kingwood Church of Christ. He enjoyed Tae Kwon Do where he was proud to achieve his brown belt status. He liked spending time with his friends and family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Allan’s love language was acts of service. He never wanted recognition or glory, he just loved doing for others. His greatest love and accomplishment was his daughter, Veronika. She was the light of his life from the moment she was born.
Allan is preceded in death by his parents and sibling Sheila Horner. He is survived by his daughter, Veronika Jones, and siblings; Renee Richardson, Kandi Brenton, Redorah Vonderheide, Yulanda Rowe, Cecila Warrick, Mickey Jones, and Brigitte Tyrell.
