CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – CDE Lightband held an electrical safety demonstration at Moore Elementary School on Friday, April 22.
Four classes came to the front of the school to observe the demonstration.
The demonstration included a 15-foot pole on a trailer for a lineman to climb up. The opposite side of the trailer features the siding of a house to show the kids how their homes receive electricity.
Keith Cutshall, one of the demonstrators said, “We came up with this trailer to demonstrate the techniques lineman use, plus to teach the students electric safety.”
CDE has taken the demonstration to six schools and is offering it to any organizations or schools that would like to participate. Interested groups can visit CDE Community Page to sign up.
