CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Clarksville Crossovers program competed and won the US Amateur Super Regionals in Biloxi, Mississippi June 15- 17.
The Crossovers 2027 3rd Grade Team played dominant going 2-1 on Saturday, beating the nationally-ranked San Antonio Warriors 33-27 and Alabama Dream 34-10.
Heading to championship play the Crossovers 2027 beat nationally-ranked LA Bucks, ATL TRU Elite. In the championship game against MBA OSAG, the Crossovers were down 28-14 with 6 minutes left ended the game on a 20-3 run with Johnathan Johnson making the game winning layup with 8 seconds left on the clock.
The Crossovers 2027 were led by Johnathan Johnson, Bryce Garnett, Montavuis Clardy, Deshaun Peterson, Jr, Demaruis Simons, Tylin George, Malachi Jordan and Kobe Richburg.
This team is currently ranked #4 in the nation for US Amateurs.
Next tournament will be Under Armour Southeastern Jr Nationals that will be held June 22-24.
